Size 2!

Yesterday I went off to the mall to do a little Christmas shopping. I went to Macy’s and decided to try a bunch of clothes on to see what size I REALLY am. Well, it’s official….I’m a Size 2! That is wearing designer clothing sizes too (Calvin Klein, Dona Karan, Liz Claiborne, etc.) In fact, one dress I tried on (photo below) I could have worn in a Size 0!! I can’t believe it! I ended up buying the pair of black slacks (also pictured below) partially because they looked great on me and partially because of the size on the tag. I have never felt so THIN before! It was amazing!

Yesterday’s food:

Breakfast: None (slept in!), some coffee when I woke up with cream and sugar (120)
Lunch: vegetable soup (100 calories), water
Snack: Almonds (90)
Dinner: At Paneras, creamy tomato soup that I did not eat it all (200) and some diet coke
Snack: leftover Beef Miso Ramen from Wagamamas (80?) and a beer (120)
Total:  710
Exercise: None really unless you count walking while shopping

My weigh-in day is Dec. 12th, but I feel like I might be at my goal weight already. I feel…thinner.  Today I took my measurements and I’ve discovered that I’ve lost nearly 47 inches around my body!

Size: 20 clothing sizes lost

Neck:1.5 inches lost

Arm: 3.25 inches lost

Chest: 9.5 inches lost

Waist:  10 inches lost

Hip: 15 inches lost

Thigh: 7.5 inches lost

It feels amazing to have lost so much fat around my body! This new body feels amazing…thinner, lighter, healthier, like anything is possible!

Here are a few pictures of our trip to Boston yesterday. Most of the pictures are from the aquarium:

For lunch I had to wander around Albany to find a place to eat. Fortunately I’m somewhat familiar with the downtown area. I found a little salad shop and ordered some soup. When I ordered, the guy at the counter kept STARING at me.  It was weird. Finally I asked him, “What?! What is it?” and he just stared and said, “You’re BEAUTIFUL!”  I was really flabbergasted. Such a thing has never happened to me! I blushed and stammered something like, “aw, aren’t you a doll? thank you!” or something to that effect. It was weird because it honestly felt heartfelt–not at all like when your mom says it to you or something. Here was just this stranger, a guy, saying that to me for nothing else than to say it. What a compliment!

To top it off, I got hit on when walking down the street–TWICE!  One was by some creepy guy at the bus stop (hey, I’ll take a compliment any way it comes) and another was from a group of construction workers that were walking down the street at the same time as me. They were actually really funny and interesting.

At night I met our group of friends out at the pub for trivia night. We came in first place this week (yay!) and I had three cosmos (no dinner). Yes, three cosmos! It was TOTALLY overdoing it (in terms of bad calorie value & no nutrition) but I really needed an evening to destress after such a hectic and stressful day!  Overall I was well under my calories for the day, but it nearly doesn’t count because the calories I consumed weren’t really quality ones. I shall do better today.

Have a good weekend everyone!

It’s Wednesday already; this week is flying by. It seems like this is the most boring week on the planet. Yesterday the satellite guy came to convert our cable to satellite. The poor guy was having a very bad day before he even showed up. He was young, maybe 20 years old at best, and had spent three hours working on a job in the morning only for the guy to cancel the installation–which means the satellite guy didn’t get paid for his work. (He only gets paid if a job is completed.) That sucks, poor thing!  He was really pleased when I offered him a pepsi, so at lunchtime I threw a frozen pizza in the toaster oven. You would have thought I handed him a million dollars! He perked right up, got really chatty with me, and in the end gave me his personal cell phone number to call if we have any questions or problems with the tvs. He was here all day long, and in that time I got my presentation done.

Last night we were supposed to have dinner with friends, so hubby and I went out to dinner just the two of us. That was nice to spend quality time with him. This restaurant has a “soup flight” which is a sampler of four soups of my choice. Each sample had about three or four bites worth in each dish–perfect for me!  The soups were delicious, too.

Today I have nothing going on AT ALL. A very boring day. I’m feeling tired and am lacking motivation.

I’ve been eating well, staying within my calories. I haven’t weighed in yet; my big weigh-in day is on December 12th.
