Reaching out for help

Well, I finally decided that “enough is enough.” Two months of trying my antidepressants and getting nowhere is too long. So yesterday I called my GP doctor to switch up my medicine (but I won’t be able to get in to see her for THREE WEEKS!) and I also made an appointment with a counselor.

Something has gotta give.

Sigh.

126.0 this morning. Still maintaining.

I’m sorry you are struggling with your depression. I know how you feel. I’ve been there. I wonder why it takes so long to get in to your doctor? Hang in there. Rest, exercise, eat healthy. That always helps.

Sorry your anti-depressant isn’t working, maybe they can give you another brand or dosage to help?

I used to eat to deal with stress and anxiety.  Now that I don’t do that anymore, I really struggle with anxiety.  I am betting that food used to help you cope with depression and now that that isn’t an option, it is much harder to deal with.  Good job bringing in the big guns!  Proud of you for taking that step.
